2-24-26   THOUGHTS

God made a WAY to access Himself!  Christ Jesus is that WAY.  Heb 10:19-20   “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20  by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh,”   Our reading ends with a prophecy about that WAY!  

Ps 85:6-13     Will You not Yourself  revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?
7  Show us Your lovingkindness, O LORD, And grant us Your salvation.  8  I will hear what God the LORD will say; For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; But let them not turn back to folly.  9  Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land.  10  Lovingkindness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.  11  Truth springs from the earth, And righteousness looks down from heaven.  12  Indeed, the LORD will give what is good, And our land will yield its produce.  13  Righteousness will go before Him And will make His footsteps into a way.

Our Prayer:
Grant us Your salvation, O Father God.  Thank You for Christ Jesus who made that Way into Your presence.  We praise You and give You thanks for such grace and mercy and love.  We seek to abide with You, and You in us.  Draw us to Yourself as You have drawn us in Jesus.  We desire an ever closer  walk with You.  In the name of our Savior,   Amen.

The song, “I Am Thine O Lord”  (583 in Rescue) took on a new power this morning for me!
